Description

A tangy, citrusy no-cook cranberry relish perfect for Thanksgiving and beyond—ready in just minutes!

Classic Base Ingredients:

  1. 1 (12 oz) bag fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained (Ocean Spray preferred)
  2. 1 medium orange, unpeeled, seeded, and quartered
  3. ¾ to 1 cup granulated sugar, to taste

Optional Add-ins:

  1. ½ small apple, chopped
  2. ½ cup crushed pineapple, drained
  3. 12 tsp grated fresh or ground ginger
  4. ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  5. Pinch of cinnamon or allspice
  6. 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Instructions

  • Prepare Cranberries: Rinse cranberries under cold water, discarding any soft berries. Drain well.
  • Quarter Orange: Cut unpeeled orange into quarters and remove seeds.
  • Pulse Ingredients: Add cranberries and orange quarters to a food processor. Pulse 8–12 times until finely chopped but not puréed.
  • Mix Sugar & Add-ins: Transfer mixture to a bowl. Stir in sugar and optional add-ins as desired. Mix well.
  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend.

Notes

  • Let sit overnight for best flavor.
  • Use zest only if orange peel is too bitter.
  • Store in fridge for up to 14 days or freeze up to 3 months.
