Description

Recreate Freddy’s iconic french fry sauce at home — creamy, tangy, and perfectly spiced. Ideal for burgers, fries & more!

Base Ingredients:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise (full-fat recommended)
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle juice
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon ground mustard
  • 35 dashes hot sauce (to taste)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne or chipotle powder
  • Pinch of Freddy’s-style burger seasoning (or black pepper + sugar)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base
    In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise and ketchup until smooth.
  2. Add Flavor Layers
    Stir in dill pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ground mustard, and hot sauce.
  3. Whisk Thoroughly
    Continue whisking until the sauce is fully emulsified and smooth.
  4. Taste & Adjust
    Taste and adjust heat, tang, or sweetness as desired.
  5. Optional Chill
    Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes to let flavors meld.
  6. Serve
