Description

For the Chicken Filling:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb), diced or shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)

For the Garlic Cheese Blend:

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil for toasting

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • ½ cup sliced red onions
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro or green onion

Instructions

  • Cook the Chicken:
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium. Add chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 6–8 minutes until fully cooked and lightly browned.
  • Make the Garlic Cheese Blend:
    In a bowl, mix cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, and minced garlic. Stir in sour cream and optional mayo until creamy.
  • Combine and Build:
    Toss cooked chicken into the cheese mixture. Spoon into tortillas. Add optional veggies. Fold in sides and roll burrito-style.
  • Toast the Wraps:
    Clean the skillet. Add butter/oil. Toast wraps seam-side down 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  • Slice and Serve:
    Rest wraps for 1–2 minutes. Slice diagonally and serve with garlic aioli, ranch, or hot honey.
